With a background in dance, education, and art-making, Mac strives to break down barriers and foster a sense of community within the world of visual and performing arts, architecture, and cultural studies. Her Southeast Texas upbringing in a non-traditional environment has profoundly influenced her approach to education, emphasizing inclusivity and dismantling institutional and societal norms. 

Currently she works as a freelance arts professional based in NYC, but in her free time she (naturally) visits exhibitions, attends dance performances, explores her community's parks and architecture, and runs the occasional 10k. She has a B.S. in Studio Art with a concentration in Education from Lamar University and a M.A. in Museum Studies from NYU.
