Mac shares her insights and passion for the arts on TikTok as @macfacts
The MAC in @macfacts represents her name, as well as the acronym Museums, Arts, and Culture, which are the topics she primarily covers. Her content aims to explore art history, offer glimpses into her life as an arts professional in New York, and promotes events and exhibitions at museums, libraries, galleries, and other art spaces, most often ones that are free or low-cost.
She hopes to make the arts more accessible by creating online content to demystify the arts, explore cultural narratives, and build a vibrant and inclusive community.
Since 2017, Mac has worked for a variety of businesses and organizations within social media management, content creation, photography, graphic design, video production, and digital marketing.
Currently, she works remotely as the PR Specialist for Marsha Woody Academy of Dance and as a freelance content creator. Please continue below to see some of her previous projects:
Dishman Art Museum:
This series titled “Highlights from the Permanent Collection” was created by Mac alongside the Dishman's administrator during the COVID-19 museum closure, creating a way for the museum to continue interacting with the community. Many of the 40+ episodes have collaborations with community members, showcase interviews and book reviews, and feature the rich art of the museum and broader Southeast Texas.
